Holiday feedback-a-thon

Because I'm so busy at work I should be crying and have instead chosen to procrastinate, now seems the perfect time to post this.
I've been thinking about feedback recently, and how it can make a normally fairly levelheaded writer climb the walls, so, since I don't celebrate any of these end of the year holidays, but know that the vast majority of you do--I present to you a holiday feedback-a-thon, which I've shamelessly stolen from other lj people (but I forget who).
How it works: Leave a comment to this post with a link to a story you've written that you'd like me to read and leave feedback for. Please keep in mind that fic in fandoms I'm not familiar with will result in less interesting feedback. If you're unsure whether I would be interested in a particular story, feel free to just ask, or to leave a "back-up" second story from a fandom you know I'm familiar with. Also, unless you state otherwise, this is positive feedback. If you want con-crit or to ask if specific things worked, please ask for it (and please really mean it).
What I will do: I will read all fic and leave a minimum of a paragraph of feedback, although I make no promise on how swiftly I will respond.
Some of the fandoms:
King Arthur
Star Wars
Hornblower (but not the books so much)
Fantastic Four (I only really know the movie, but I'll read anything)
Firefly
Supernatural
Mythology
Mary Renault
Sharpe
BSG
Rome
There are a lot of others, so if you have something else in mind, just ask. I'm also familiar with a lot anime fandoms, but listing them all here will tax my brain.
You don't have to be on my friends list to ask for feedback—although it would be nice if we've at least exchanged some kind of communication before.
If there are any questions, feel free to ask.
Happy Holidays!

Date: 2006-11-16 12:55 am (UTC)And I've always thought someone ought to write The Continuing Adventures of Galahad and Gawain. Sounds like a B-level syndicated TV series, I know, but hey...

Date: 2006-12-13 09:25 pm (UTC)I liked the idea of this one. Setting the story after Arthur’s death was a nice touch, and it was interesting to see what the knights might have made of themselves as they grew older. I also very much liked the idea of tying Gawain’s memories to scars—not those inflicted by enemies, but those inflicted by friends. (Fitting, for the type of friends he had, I suppose. = ) . )The details you included were also very nice: The boy that had fetched him trailed at his side, seemingly fixated on Gawain's sword ; the unwelcome Roman funeral guests; and poor Gawain being somehow stuck with planning the funeral.
Thanks for linking the fic—I enjoyed reading it!

Date: 2006-12-04 10:55 pm (UTC)If you've seen the movie Constantine (or even not, really), I'd love feedback on The Third Day.
Or, if you prefer something shorter, Flesh and Blood, which is Supernatural.
I'd love to return the favor if you let me know what story of yours you'd like feedback on.

Hornblower: Playing At Games.
And because it includes beardless L, The Bet.
*squishes* You're awesome to do this. :)))) I shall have to do it as well.

Date: 2006-11-16 02:28 pm (UTC)http://tigers-prowl.livejournal.com/55266.html <-- Say You Understand {I Never Had This Planned}. This is explicit incest but it's definitely not a PWP.
If you're not comfortable with that, though (which is completely understandable), Veritas Vos Liberabit is a gen fic --> http://tigers-prowl.livejournal.com/54883.html
Thanks so much for this and if you'd like me to return the favour, just link me :D

Date: 2006-11-16 07:02 pm (UTC)Ok, I'm not writing much lately, so I'll go with some old fics. Three pieces, you choose which one you'd like to read.
Under the Sky: Lancelot/OC romance, the longest fic I've ever writen (and my favorite too).
Galahad's Words: angst Arthur fic, post movie.
Find You: Lancelot/OC romance (my first and so far only sex scene)
Just forget about the grammar/spelling mistakes and pretend I can write in English, lol!
