In fit of insanity, or actually, because I am merely [livejournal.com profile] sasha_b's hapless puppet, I have joined [livejournal.com profile] talking_muses to play Lancelot to her Arthur. The character journal is [livejournal.com profile] sarmatian_son. Perhaps not the wisest thing to do (especially considering that I don't think I really like writing in first person), but, you know, puppet. And it should be fun. : ) Feel free to check it out if you're inclined, although there's not much up there yet.

Not to worry, though, it has not distracted me from my task of crack dealing. I've sent the chapter off to my puppet master. I might almost be done, although almost maybe a little while yet. Since, you know, 40 pages to edit. Did I mention 40 pages?

So, yeah, like I'm surprised you don't write BSDM scenes more since you're clearly a masochist going forward with this. ;p Sigh. Friending that, like I have time. Crack dealer you sure are! Crystal, even.

Am so behind the posts here, so I just caught the crack update. Hah -- I couldn't find that email for the life of me yesterday, because I had forgotten which account I had sent it from. Really, I can't wait for the next installment! **rubs hands with glee**

Hope you're well.

The metaphor I've been using is I'm only the back lab chemist and Ash is the pusher. But yes, I'm a little delusional.

Oh, and don't think you're escaping this, either. I'm sure teh crack will be making an appearance at your doorstop shortly.

After spending all that time looking, it turns out I had actually starred your emails, so, if I'd had half a brain, all I actually had to do was click one button, and presto. But, of course, I had forgotten that. You sent them from your rr account, btw, back at the start of May--so it's only taken me four months to reach that scene. Yup.

Oh, and I just saw you text message a little while ago. That's pretty crazy. But hopefully fun crazy?

Oh, and don't think you're escaping this, either.

Never thought I was getting a reprieve. Oh dear, I think I may have to double-up the vitamin doses to prepare myself! Oi, Bors, what the hell are these?! And no I'm not just going to swallow them because you said so (because Tristan told you to) and because Tor took them when he ran out of the Flinstones ones! And don't leave that bottle unattended with Galehaut around! Argh -- see, now they won't leave ME alone!

But hopefully fun crazy?

Yeah, I couldn't exactly post about it, but I had to tell you and Ash. They refuse to confirm anything, and we won't officially know until we get to Union Square that morning, but only one big entertainment-related book is dropping as a strict-on-sale that very day. And the call I got was "Maria, I need only you guys with celebrity experience. If you're bringing anyone, it'll be for bag checks by the stage, and if they're going to gawk and be a deer in the headlights, I don't want them!" Will keep you guys updated. For all I know, it could be for Justin Timberlake's coloring book.

BTW, I couldn't resist using an icon with Tris trying to blend in with the locals by wearing a tracksuit. Looks like your everyday chav-tastic working class punter, in sharp contrast to our favorite preening peacock, and the lovely Sir Lash-A-Lot.

He was feeling left out (he says he wasn't, but he was pouting). He likes armor, so he didn't want to wear modern civvies.

But I am a bit worried about that smirk. What exactly would Tris have to have done to be smiling like that?

That smirk was a result of a reconnaissance mission to see what Agravaine was up to. As usual, the surely bugger refused to socialize with the rest of the knights properly, and decided to experience the scene at Le Jeu Pleurant (that special bar Bors discovered) by himself.

He quite likes the atmosphere, and has made the hostess Kiki his new (and possibly only) friend. He likes the fact that she's an old-fashioned, classy gal who won't let him go all the way until they get to know each other better. He buys her flowers, chocolate, and a couple of margaritas whenever he turns up, and dreams of a beautiful future together once that Roman is out of the way.

Tris has never quite forgiven him for putting the moves on Din one night when they were all very drunk. He bought his new digital camera in anticipation of the day when Kiki finally brings him home.

Er, I meant surly bugger!

Bwahahaa! That's too funny. See--once they start talking to you . . . . : )

Tristan's going to make a pretty penny off the those pictures--or at least he's not going to have to do another chore around the house for a very long time. Everyone's going to want a look.

Yes, there's no going back once they start talking to you. And each more demanding than the last. Pushy buggers. ; )

Well, I hope it turns out to be a good surprise rather than Mr. Timberlake and his coloring book. (Although Galahad and Tor do rather like coloring books--but Gareth still hasn't managed to get them to stop drawing with crayon on the walls. Arthur is not going to be happy when he see's their "artwork".)

Okay, sadly, must sleep now. Hope you have a good day tomorrow, er today.
