trying to beat inertia

Finding it to be pretty pitiful that I've supposedly had this journal for over a year and have done nothing with it, I've decided to make an effort, dammit! To that end, I've finally loaded photoshop on to my computer. Amazing to think that the last time I used the program it was on a Mac SE. I'm old. Anyway, though I have no real idea what I'm doing at all, making icons, if you can call it that, has been fun. I've also joined a few communities, hoping to work myself up into tyring to befriend actual people. Although I've skipped around various people's livejournals for sometime, I've never made an effort to "talk" to anyone. But one step at a time--no need to get crazy here.
