Well, as a few of you have noticed, there's been no fic from me in over a year. I didn’t have the time, and then didn't seem to have the inclination. I literally have not written anything since March 2009. (For fun that is. I probably wrote over a thousand pages for work last year, which may have been a lot of the problem.)

I am thinking about the fic a little again. To find out if I can re-gleeify myself for it, I've gone back and started rereading this week (and man, is it long—I’m barely a quarter way through). But I guess the question I’m wondering about is, is it worth the effort? I'm a little OCD about finishing tasks I've set myself, but that's not a good enough reason to devote as much time and effort as this fic requires. Are you guys seriously still interested in this thing? I'm not looking for head patting here (or maybe I am a little), but genuine input. Fandoms are a fickle thing and people move on. As much as the act of writing has to be for my own enjoyment, I'd be lying if I said it didn't matter if anyone was interested and reading.

(Keep in mind, though, even if I do get myself to reengage on the fic, it will be awhile before I produce anything, given the novella length of the chapters and the ever-exciting vagrancies of work. And I'd have a lot of reading to do first.)

Still very interested.

It is so worth it, Yes, Yes a thousand times. For me resurrection is an epic story and it is my all-time favorite fic ever. I think you should finish it, but I am bias and really want to know how everything will come together in the end.

Yes, I'm seriously still interested in this. This is the longest I've ever stuck with a wip. Don't let me down now!

Also, I now realize that that icon is inaccurate. Lancelot is a heathen. You have to be Christian to be a heretic.

This is such an epic fic....and a LOT of work for you. But selfishly I'd like to see how it concludes...even if it takes you a decade to write. And I think it might be worth shopping for publication once completed. *winks*

I am seriously still interested! I actually re-read it all about two months ago, and was left feeling kind of amazed at all the different plot threads - and excited by how they all seemed to be coming together. And completely in love with Lancelot :).

But if you're no longer enjoying writing it, then don't force yourself. You've no obligation to finish, however much we all might want you to!

I am still very much interested, yes. I have to know what happens next and I have a huge vested interest in your Agravaine to an almost unhealthy degree, haha.

If you write it we will read it. That is not really the question, though is it? If you find after your read that you still want to tell this wonderfully convoluted story then YES, please write more. If you don't feel the earth move for you at the thought of taking up where you left it then don't worry about us, you've already given us a wonderful story to entertain and speculate about. I hope that you find something that gives you the joy and I'll be hanging around waiting to see what it is. ;)

...stupid LJ ate my comment.

My (shorter) point is, if you write it, I'll read it. But as some of the other commenters here said, if it doesn't inspire you, then....

I will always love this piece, and would love to see how it ends.

I am still interested as well. Seems like I have to re-read to see what parts or side drama I may have missed the first few times.

If you decide NOT to finish, you MUST tell us what happened in the end - just a quick summary, nothing major. But curiosity killed the cat, satisfaction brought him back to life (or so they say) I have to know the end, and what happens to each of the main characters. Especially what the devil was Merlin trying to do in the first place??? And did he succeed??

Thanks

Gerdie

I don't even know how many times I have reread this fic so of course I would love to read more but only if you really, really feel like writing it. If you do decide to write more, take your time, this fic is definitely worth waiting for! :)

I'm certainly still very interested. While I've been laid up with my hip I've re-read the series. Both you and Ash have kept me entertained and stopped me from pulling my hair out.

So, I guess my vote is a resounding "YES" please continue!!

I think this is a wonderful reinvention of the characters and would love to see it reach a conclusion. I understand the feeling with the rest of life being so busy there is no time to be creative. I would miss seeing it complete at the same time I would hate you to feel you had to rush it to get it out of the way. Happy to wait for more whenever you have time to write even small pieces are welcome.

YES YES YES!!! Still very definitely interested (if you couldn't tell by previous posts and nagging messages! lol!) My withdrawals are going through withdrawals. Nothing hurts more than getting involved in a good storyline and then left hanging because the author moved on. PLEASE!!!! don't do that. We need to know what happens to the guys, where is Lance going, who was in the 2nd car behind Gal, Tor and Percival, Who will find Arthur and when, as well as Gaheris, and...and...and...PLEASE!!!!!!

I was writing in my journal at lunch today and I mentioned your Resurrection-verse! Seriously! And I hadn't read this post yet!

I think that's a sign, AZ!

When you write it, I'll be here.

I am more than interested. I am overjoyed at the mere thought of you continuing this story.

Yes, I love it that much. I've reread it several times, and I check back with your journal periodically on the off chance that you've posted an update. I have even cobbled the stories together into a single file to keep on my new e-reader so that I can take it on the go with me when I travel. A little pathetic? Maybe. But I'm okay with that.

And I am very okay with you writing and posting more. Please do. There is no doubt that I will be waiting to read it.

How do you transfer stories such as Resurrection to your e-reader? I've been thinking about getting one to carry a few such stories with me to read periodically- (Ashley's LBTS & Felt like a Lifetime, Amari's Resurrection, Guede's Theory-verse as well as some of her other epics, etc) but wasn't sure if I could transfer them to an e-reader.

You'd probably need to save the file as a pdf or a word doc (depending on what your e-reader.

Sorry for the late reply!

Oh, yes, please.
I have been reading the fic and thought of two songs that would be perfect to the Arthur and Lancelot's mood where you left off, I will try to translate the first track:

Alone, without you
I'm walking
And don't know what to do
Neither heaven answered me
When I asked for you, my darling

I could not forget you
Since the night I lost you

Shadows of doubt and jealousy
just thinking of you surround me

Let me find you
and if I find you
come back again

Forget the past
no longer remember that yesterday

While I'm asleep
I dream the two close together to a blue sky
But when I awake the sky is red
I'm needing you

-------

The other song I'll post it when I find the lyrics, :P

Bye bye

Oh, yes please, I absolutely adore this story!

I love the way you have written Lancelot (he is my favorite :D) and Tristan, and Arthur, and... oh, what the hell, just everyone and everything, the plot is very thrilling and well written, and had me hooked from the start!

Sorry if I ramble and don't make much sense, but it's just that I love this story of yours so much (I have re-read it many times XD) that I don't know how to express it.

Thank you very much for writing this story, you gave me a wonderful, lovely time reading it ^^

Hi, I'm new to this fandom but I wanted to let you know that people are still reading Resurrection even after all this time. I read it all in one go last night and I think it's one of the finest pieces of writing I've come across recently. I love the way you've designed the different layers in the plot, and the characterisation is brilliant. I would love to find out how you had planned to bring all the threads together at the end, but even if you decide not to continue writing it, I'm grateful for all the happy hours of reading that you've given me. :) Thank you for being such a great writer!

Just thought I would check in and see if you had been able to write any more on the Resurrection Series. I can see by reading the comments that there are others still interested after all these years as well as new readers.

What you have here is a masterpiece, albeit an unfinished masterpiece. It would be so wonderful if you do get a chance to write. We are still here for you and will continue to wait for the next installment! <3
