Thanks dear. I’m glad you’re enjoying the insanity. : ) Sometimes my mind just boggles with the possibilities and so it decides to run off and play solitaire or something. Right now I’m struggling in figuring out how to deal with a kind of serious scene (and I laugh at myself as I use “serious” in context of the teh crack) that I really want to get right, and so it’s much more fun to distract myself giggling over knights arguing over how to tell if a cantaloupe is ripe—or other such inanities. I actually started Deportment when I was fighting with Myths, as a break from the parts that were driving me nuts (that was when I thought Deportment would just be fun and games :p).
I’ve never been to 71 Irving Place, so thanks for the tip—I’ll have to get myself there sometime. These days, given my general laziness and limited lesiure, I’m afraid that weekend mornings when I’m in the mood to write too often find me at the local Starbucks. The amazing thing, given that there are two within two blocks of my apartment, is that I can’t always get a seat even there. We definitely need more cafes in NYC. Vienna was absolutely wonderful in that—so many little coffee houses in which you could sit and read or talk or whatever.
Yes, I’ve started listening to the new Morrissey (although I’ve only gotten the EP not the whole album so far) and I’m enjoying it a lot more than his last efforts (although I do chortle when I hear the lyrics for How Could Anybody Possibly Know How I Feel?). : ) I was getting a bit worried about him, but I feel reassured now.
Oh, and speaking of lazy and packages, I do have something long overdue to send you. If I get my act together (a big if), hopefully I’ll mail it this week.
