This is very good! You really feel bad for poor little Patroklos, and the ending just fits so well. It almost made me feel worse for him because he was so happy he had a friend he couldn't hurt. It seemed very true to . . . child-logic I suppose. I can see a kid afraid to make friends after accidentally killing a friend. The only thing I noticed was that brooch was misspelled. It was a very stirring piece, and I hope you don't mind if I add it to my memories.
