I was just re-reading them and giggling, I think my favorite is his dearly held belief that we and the fish can live together peacefully.

In case you don't see it, I linked to a similar article in the UK Guardian in reply to your comment.

Ha! Thanks for the second link as well. I can't watch the pratfall videos at work--but although I think I've seen them all before, they're no doubt worth rewatching (and rewatching)!

And I had totally forgotten this incident:

"If you'd wanted to invent a story to make Bush look foolish, you might have spun a tale of him choking on a pretzel while watching a football game, blacking out, injuring himself, and waking to find his dogs Spot and Barney fussing over him in concern. "

Really. You couldn't make this stuff up.

Are we there yet?

I'm behind the time with my responses. Sorry!

I'm glad you got to read and cut down your "Big List of Shame". Reading is always a joy and a pleasure to me. However, the work related stuff can be boring *sigh* but a necessary evil. The problem occurs when I sit down to read something I want to read. I feel listless and bored. I can't seem to get into the mindset of reading for pleasure. I've decided I'm going to "force" myself to relax *hee* and get back to reading for the pure fun of it.

As for George W. all I can say is farewell! He was certainly an idiot, and not even a well intentioned idiot. Hopefully Obama can set things straight.

Take care,

Shelley

The new big list of shame will be up shortly, and it's not much reduced, I got to say, because there have been many new additions. Um.

For me, I think it helps that I generally am pressed for time. I have a subway ride, a couple minutes before I have to get ready for work, etc. Because I know I only have a finite period to read, I'm eager to read what I can.

He's either an idiot or an evil genius. I can never quite make up my mind.

And these, dear me, are only highlights . . . *sighs*

I think there are whole books on the subject.
