I have nothing against trash novels as escapism--I just wish that I could find books that actually did that for me these days. I've gotten too critical or old or whatever to enjoy most genre type novels.
I don't have any problem reading on an e-reader, and the Kindle is well enough constructed that it's not intrusive, it's just that I also want to have the actual book. It's not really that rational.
