I do think we've actually talked about this before, or at least I think you mentioned that you hadn't seen the film. The only good thing about it the pretty that is Eric Bana. At least he can actually act.

I've read a few different versions of this story - not in a long time, but I was fascinated by Greek myth as a kid (check out my last name - sigh). I haven't read any of the Iliad since High School either. If I can muddle my way through Malory I guess I should try Homer again. :p

But I digress. Lovely, angsty fic. Enjoyed it.
