Oh, the pain. Lancelot's icily controlled interaction with Arthur turning to stunning violence at the end was perfect, and it broke my heart when his big, burden-relieving epiphany was that he owed no loyalty to Arthur or the knights after their betrayals. I am already anxious and excited to see the next instamment to this 'verse, however long it takes to appear.
(Is it wrong of me that I want you or someone else to write a Lancelot/Tristan AU of this AU? I think maybe I'm just craving some kind of comfort and happiness for Lancelot, but the appeal for Lancelot/Tristan is definitely there.)
